Our profound loss is Heaven’s gain. I’ve cried every day since Micah passed away. There have been so many times where I felt the heaviness of him not being here physically, but in those moments I have also tangibly felt his presence with me, spiritually. Some things don’t change— His thoughtfulness, his affection, his joy, and his sense of humor. He’s very much alive and all the goodness that Jesus bestowed into his little heart, is exponentially greater now that he is Home.
I still receive numerous messages every day about how Micah is changing lives, bringing people closer to Christ, and how his prayers before the throne of God on behalf of others are obtaining miracles. It’s as if Micah is on this lifelong play date with the most incredible friend: Jesus. I just can’t wait to finally pick him up from this play date and join him. Until then I’m reminded often by Micah that I need to be patient, brave, and faithful till the Lord allows me. ❤️‍🩹 Please pray for me and my family, as we pray for you.
“For to me life is Christ, and death is gain.
If I go on living in the flesh, that means fruitful labor for me. And I do not know which I shall choose. I am caught between the two. I long to depart this life and be with Christ, for that is far better. Yet that I remain in the flesh is more necessary for your benefit.”
— Phil 1.21–24

I love all my Christian brothers and sisters and pray that we might become one someday, just like Jesus prayed for. But the problem I encounter in so many conversations is that people have been told erroneous things about the Catholic faith. So they end up despising or fearing what they THINK the Catholic Church teaches, not what it actually does.
✅ out @truthly.ai if you want to learn, articulate, or better understand what Catholicism actually teaches. It is so incredibly helpful 🤯🙌🏼!

Going on a pilgrimage years ago is what literally changed my faith in Christ forever! Seeing the tilma of St Juan Diego, and the miraculous image that God left us in Our Lady of Guadalupe, is something that every Catholic needs to experience once in their lives!
If you can’t make it this time, feel free to comment an intention that I can pray for during this pilgrimage. 🙏🏼

This is my dear friend, Mother Gloria Therese. She is the superior of the @carmelitesistersocd who are such a gift to the Church! They were praying for Micah when he was in the hospital and they continue to love on us as we carry our cross with trust in the Lord.
This past year, the sisters have been through a lot as a building in their retreat house was severely damaged in a fire. Thankfully no one was injured, but they could use our help.
Comment Amen and I’ll send a DM with how you can bless them! I can’t think of a more deserving group of Sisters!

It’s been 103 days since Micah graduated this life and inherited eternal life in Christ. I have received multiple messages EVERY single day since then, about how people asked for his intercession, and God was pleased to answer.
In His mysterious will, God is allowing Micah to proclaim to this generation, that Jesus defeated sın and death— And all of us who believe in Him, if we persevere and remain faithful to His commandments, will also arrive in Heaven some day. Life is short. Eternity is forever. Prepare accordingly.
Micah Joseph Kim, pray for us bubba.

Just War Theory: The Catholic Church’s moral framework for armed conflict. This is one of the most profound and carefully developed doctrines in Catholic moral theology — and it is far more demanding than most people realize. As defined in Catechism of the Catholic Church 2309, all four conditions must be met simultaneously in order to be considered a just war: 1. Grave and Certain Harm — The damage inflicted by the aggressor on the nation or community of nations must be lasting, grave, and certain. 2. Last Resort — All other means of putting an end to it must have been shown to be impractical or ineffective. 3. Reasonable Hope of Success — There must be serious prospects of success. 4. Proportionality — The use of arms must not produce evils and disorders graver than the evil to be eliminated. The power of modern means of destruction weighs very heavily in evaluating this condition. These are hard conditions to fulfill, and with good reason: the Church teaches that war should always be the last resort. There are serious reasons to believe that what the U.S. and Israel are currently engaged in is unjust, leading to unnecessary casualties of innocent life, and quickly escalating towards a worldwide conflict. Imagine you are sitting in your home in Lebanon or Iran and bombs are dropping— destroying the lives of your neighbors, loved ones, and children. Ask the honest question: Would this war still be worth it considering the “collateral damage” are those you love? Please pray for Divine Mercy to be upon this situation and enlighten all world leaders with the Spirit of God, so they could arrive at decisions that would lead to lasting peace. I’d also like to pray for President Trump who posted this blasphemous image of himself in an attempt to insult the Pope. This does not reflect the heart of a man being led by the Lord. He will stand before the Lord one day and give an account of all his actions. I pray that he repents.

Micah, you’ve taken over dadda’s ministry, and we couldn’t be more proud of you! Your light shines so brightly and the world can’t deny what God accomplished for each of us through his Son’s death and resurrection. You’re where everyone wants to be: Heaven. But there’s only one way we can get there: Jesus Christ. We know you’re alive. More alive than we are. Pray for us, bubba. ❤️🙏🏼
